In case you prefer to send your order via mail, please include prepayment in the form of a or VISA / MASTERCARD / AMERICAN EXPRESS charge card information (name as it appears on card, number and expiration date, e-mail address or telephone number).

For orders within the US please add USD 6.00 for the first book, and USD 1.00 for each additional book ordered. Pennsylvania residents must add 6% state sales tax.
For orders to Canada or Mexico please add USD 8.00 for the first book, and USD 2.00 for each additional book .
Canadian residents must add 5% GST (CBN: 13131 6846 RT).

Orders from the Book Trade
Items listed in the catalogue are available to the trade at discount. Please refer to ABA Book Buyers' Handbook or the NACS Book Buyers' Manual for discount and ordering information or contact our offices.

Returns: Defective or damaged books are accepted for return if sent back within one month. All other returns are with written permission only. Request for permission must include invoice number. No returns allowed on titles we distribute for other publishers. Credit balances are refundable on request. Period of eligibility for return: Up to 12 months. Delivery address for returns:

Postage and packing will be charged additionally. EXAMINATION & DESK COPIES
We do send out examination copies but only of titles that are of potential use as textbooks. On this website books that are eligible to be sent as examination copies have an Examination Copy Request button on their description page. You may request an examination copy online by clicking the Examination copy button above the title of the book and you will be taken to the examination copy request form. Fill out the form and submit your request electronically.

Examination copies will be sent accompanied by an invoice which is due after sixty days unless an order for 10 or more copies of the book is received, or the book is returned unmarked and in re-saleable condition.
A complimentary desk copy will be sent when requested on departmental stationery if accompanied by an order for 10 or more copies of the book.

PRINTING ON DEMAND PROGRAM
The books included in our printing-on-demand program are in principle all titles which are out of print. Titles will be made available as printing-on-demand in hardbound format, except for those titles originally published as paperback only. Orders can be sent to both the Amsterdam (customer.servicesbenjamins.nl) and Herndon VA (benjaminspresswarehouse.com) offices of John Benjamins. Please allow 3 weeks for delivery. The usual conditions of sale apply and agreed discounts remain unchanged.
