Annotation

This paper deals with the oral genre of Caucasian Georgian toast, a formalized, gender-related drinking-talk, and focuses on its structure and its way of communicating emotions as well as moral and religious cultural values. This analysis thus combines research on oral literature, communicative genres and gender.
