Annotation

This paper claims that the core of language use is divided between a purely linguistic and a non-linguistic pragmatic competence; that the linguistic pragmatic competence is represented in our minds as a cluster of modules in a revised sense of the term; and that a part of the cluster of pragmatic modules is related to the left hemisphere of the brain, while the right hemisphere is related to pragmatic competences in a completely different way.
