Annotation

This paper explores how a group of Tanzanian journalists use different intersubjectivity methods to accomplish mutual comprehension during a work conversation. The focus lies on one episode of talk referring to political figures and clothing styles from the early days of African independence, and a related, ensuing joke about bodily image.
