Annotation

Young Greek informants' (im)politeness conceptualizations show their preoccupation with societal issues regarding social norms and rights and the consequent notion of suitability in context. Whilst politeness is mainly seen in terms of non-verbal action, the reverse is true for impoliteness. Society now is considered less polite than 25 years ago, because of the current fast pace of life.
