Annotation

The current contribution to the knowledge of the Galician language focuses on the dialect of O Ferrol, selected as representative for the whole area, and uses the sociolinguistic methodology to analyze and evaluate the linguistic behavior, attitudes and beliefs of the interviewees. Galician is still dominant within the family and its presence in public and official environments is increasing. The younger the interviewees and the more urban the environment, the greater is the presence of Spanish.
