Abstract

It is the purpose of this Reader to gather together, essays published during the last thirty years on the history, challenges and difference of translating for the young reader. This book not only provides a synthetic account of what has been achieved in the field, but also dicusses all the textual, visual and cultural complexities that translating for children entails.
