Abstract

Hungary's reputation is perceived through its literature translated in various foreign languages. This article mainly discusses the 19th century, which most important authors are Sándor Petöfi, Mór Jókai and Imre Madách, and the 20th century with authors such as Endre Ady and Attila József, Miklós Radnóti and Ferenc Molnár.
