This book proposes a linguistic and systematic approach to certain translation problems. Based on the idea that every translation is preceded by the interpretation of the source text, the book provides the necessary elements of analysis for this interpretation. Emphasis is put on translation by means of structural changes in both the verbal and nominal constituent.
