This is an edition of the Catalan translation of Seneca's tragedies, which dates from the end of the 14th or beginnings of the 15th century and which is complete except for Octavia and Hercules Oeteus. The author examines the influence of Seneca on medieval culture, comments on the existing Catalan translations and provides a critical review of the main bibliography on the subject. In a final isntance, the translations themselves are studied and it is concluded that they were produced by several different translators.
