Порівняльний вимір перекладу є одним із найголовніших у перекладознавстві. У широкому розумінні це можна показати на прикладі тісних взаємозв’язків між перекладознавством та суміжними дисциплінами, такими як порівняльне літературознавство та різноманітні гілки порівняльних наук (лінгвістики, прагматики та стилістики).
