This paper presents an overview of the Lowth holdings in Winchester College, which Robert Lowth (1710–1787) had attended as a ‘scholar’ between 1722 and 1729. The holdings include Lowth’s own gifts and bequests, various gifts by others (comprising five copies of The Short Introduction to English Grammar), as well as a large collection of Lowthiana.
